Budgetary Allocations For 2013 of a Number of Spheres Were Debated

On November 2 at the joint sitting of the RA NA Standing Committees on Science, Education, Culture, Youth and Sport and on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs moderated by Artak Davtyan and Gagik Minasyan the debates concerning the education, science, Diaspora, culture, sport, youth and a number of other spheres of the RA draft law “On the RA 2013 State Budget” continued.

The RA Deputy Minister of Finance Pavel Safaryan presented the financial allocations being envisioned in 2013 in the mentioned spheres.

The heads of the relevant ministries touched upon the content of the programmes to be implemented in the spheres.

Presenting the programme policy being expected in the sphere of culture in 2013 the RA Minister of Culture Hasmik Poghosyan noted as a priority the programmes, which with four components in the sphere of cultural heritage: libraries, museums, intangible cultural heritage and monuments. From the next year initiatives to be implemented the Minister also distinguished the programme of declaration of the Armenian rugs and the problems of the development of cultural industry and preparation of young human resources. The MPs specified details through questions a number of urgent problems of the sphere of culture.

The RA Ministry of Education and Science presented the programme policy for 2013 of the spheres of education and science.

Talking about the activity of the coming year Hranush Hakobyan noted that the strengthening of Motherland-Diaspora link continued to remain and call to life joint programmes.

The Minister of RA Sport and Youth Hrachya Rostomyan touched upon the content of the spheres of sport and youth.

The Deputy Chairman of the National Committee of Television and Radio (NCTR) Jirayr Dadasyan presented the programme policy for 2013, and the Chairman of the Council of the RA Public TV and Radio Company Alexan Harutyunyan touched upon the programmes of the Council.

At the joint sitting of the RA NA Standing Committees on Agriculture and Environment and on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs moderated by Martun Grigoryan and Gagik Minasyan on November 2 the allocations to the spheres of agriculture, environment and water management of the draft state budget for 2013 were debated. The Deputy Minister of Finance Pavel Safaryan presented the volumes and the priorities of financing. Those responsible for the spheres gave details to the MPs about the programmes and the works to be done.

The representatives of the Government also answered the deputies’ questions.
